وتربط منال بين اهتمامها بالحرف العربي والمرأة، فدائما ما تحمل لوحاتها وجه امرأة مدون عليه حروف عربية. فمن وجهة نظرها ” المرأة كالحرف، وجودها مهم كأهمية الحرف ولها بصمة كبصمة الحرف وجمالها وتنوعها واختلافها يجعلها قريبة الشبه بالحرف العربي.
وبالرغم من إيمانها بأن المرأة الخليجية “تحسن وضعها كثيرا خلال السنوات الأخيرة و اقتحمت كل مجالات العمل كوزيرة و نائبة في البرلمان إلا أن سقف الطموح لا حدود له وعليها السعي من أجل المزيد”.
وأقامت منال أول معارضها عام 2013 . وكان عن المرأة وحمل اسم – تجارب و إصرار .
في هذا المعرض عرضت منال 35 نموذجا للمرأة حول العالم بمختلف مراحلها العمرية وألوانها وأزيائها وركزت في المقام الأول على ملامح الوجه، حيث أرادت أن تبعث رساله مفادها “يجب النظر للمرأة فقط كإنسان وليس على أساس شكلها أو سنها أو زيها أو غطاء رأسها أو جنسيتها”.

وتقول “المرسم لا يحمل اسمي كأي مرسم آخر وإنما أردت أن يكون مدرسة تضم فنانين من مشارب مختلفة متخصصين في الحرف وآخرين من المدرسة الواقعية وغيرهم متخصصين في الرسم بالماء، وهو مرسم يهتم بتعليم النساء فقط ، لكن بعض المدربين رجال”.
بجانب المرسم تحقق منال كما تقول أرباحا عبر طباعة رسوماتها على ملابس و أقمشة و صناديق صغيرة كتلك التي عرضتها في مدريد عام 2013 ضمن أعمال المجلس التجاري السعودي – الإسباني.
