Police continue to investigate 1994 Halifax murder

Regional police sid Friday marks 30 years since the murder of a man in Halifax.

According to police, Shane Siddle died on Dec. 13, 1994, after going to the Victoria General Hospital with a serious head injury on Dec. 7.

Police say it’s believed Siddle was assaulted near his home on Belle Aire Terrace, but the incident wasn’t reported to police.

HRP says it believes there are people out there with information on the case, and even a seemingly small tip could help move the investigation forward.

The case is also part of the major unsolved crimes reward program.
