CANADAHALIFAX news 13schools to remain closed on Tuesday as crews battle wildfires by admin 30 May، 2023 written by admin 30 May، 2023 117 By CityNews Halifax Staff As crews continue to battle wildfires in the Tantallon and Hammonds Plains areas, the Halifax Regional Centre for Education says 13 schools will remain closed on Tuesday, as a result. 13 “This is a stressful and difficult time,” said Steve Gallagher, HRCE Regional Director. “I know that some families may have lost homes. I know that many students, staff and families are displaced.” The following schools will remain closed on Tuesday: Bay View High School Tantallon Junior Elementary Tantallon Senior Elementary Five Bridges Junior High St. Margaret’s Bay Elementary Kingswood Elementary Hammonds Plains Consolidated Madeline Symonds Middle School Harry R.
