CANADAكندا عربي شركة مودرنا الصيدلانيّة تعتزم بناء مصنع لإنتاج اللّقاحات في كندا by admin 10 أغسطس، 2021 written by admin 10 أغسطس، 2021 52 راديو كندا الدولي \ RCI توصّلت الحكومة الكنديّة إلى اتّفاق مبدئيّ مع شركة مودرنا الأميركيّة الصيدلانيّة يهدف لِبناء مصنع لإنتاج اللّقاحات في كندا. وأعلن وزير الابتكار و العلوم والصناعة الكندي فرانسوا فيليب شامبان عن توقيع اتّفاق مبدئيّ ، خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقده صباح اليوم في مونتريال، وشارك فيه ستيفان بانسيل المدير التنفيذي في شركة مودرنا. ولم يكشف بانسيل عن موعد بناء المصنع ومكانه، وهذا هو الاتّفاق الثاني الذي توقّعه الحكومة الكنديّة من أجل إنتاج لقاحات الحمض النووي الريبوزي المرسال في كندا (نافذة جديدة). وما زالت المفاوضات مستمرّة بين الحكومة وشركة مودرنا بشأن قضايا محدّدة، من بينها قيمة مساهمة أوتاوا في بناء المصنع، بالإضافة إلى موعد بنائه ومكانه حسب ما نقلت وكالة الصحافة الكنديّةعن المتحدّت باسم الوزير فرانسوا فيليب شامبان . وكانت الحكومة الكنديّة قد أعلنت في أيّار مايو الفائت عن استثمار بقيمة 200 مليون دولار لإنتاج لقاحات الحمض النووي الريبوزي المرسال في البلاد. ويساعد الاستثمار شركة رزيليانس بيوتكنولوجيز Resilience Biotechnologies على تحديث منشآتها في ميسيسوغا في مقاطعة أونتاريو وإنتاج لقاحات وعلاجات من صنع كندي. وقال المتحدّث باسم الوزير شامبان إنّ أوتاوا اجتذبت خلال فصل الربيع الماضي العديد من شركات علوم الحياة، عندما أعلنت عن تخصيص 2،2 مليار دولار في قطاع البيوتكنولوجيا على مدى سبع سنوات. وزير الابتكار والعلوم والصناعة الكندي فرانسوا فيليب شامبانالصورة: ANTHONY ANEX/AP وتنتج شركة مودرنا التي تأسّست قبل 11 عاما، لقاحات الحمض النووي الريبوزي المرسال ومنتجات أخرى من الحمض النووي الريبوزي المرسال لمعالجة أمراض القلب والسرطان والمناعة الذاتيّة. ولم تشارك كندا حتّى الآن في أيّ لقاح تنتجه شركة مودرنا أو أيّ لقاح مضادّ لِكوفيد – 19. ويأمل رئيس الحكومة جوستان ترودو، المتوقَّع أن يعلن عن إجراء انتخابات تشريعيّة في وقت قريب، في حشد التأييد من خلال الاستثمار في علوم الحياة و الأبحاث العلميّة والتجارب السريريّة التي رصد لها موازنات ضخمة. ويشار إلى أنّ مودرنا و بيونتيك هما الشركتان الوحيدتان اللتان تنتجان لقاحات الحمض النووي الريبوزي المرسال المضادّة لمرض كوفيد-19، و تجدان صعوبة في تلبية الطلب العالمي المرتفع عليها.
