بجامعة لانكستر، التي أجرت أول دراسة عن الإيلاج الإجباري وشملت عينة شارك فيها أكثر من 200 رجل عبر الإنترنت، إنه تلك القوانين يجب أن تُراجع. وتتناول ويري في دراستها التي نشرتفي الآونة الأخيرة كثيرا من التفاصيل عن الإيلاج الإجباري ونتائجه. “اللحظة الملعونة” يقول جون، وهو اسم مستعار لأحد المشاركين في البحث، إن شريكته قامت بإيذاء نفسها خلال الممارسة ونُقلت للطوارئ للعلاج بأحد المستشفيات، وبعد ذلك بستة أشهر بدلا من إيذاء نفسها تحولت إليه. ويضيف قائلا: “كنت جالسا في غرفة المعيشة، وجاءت من المطبخ، ولكمتني بعنف في أنفي لتبدأ في الممارسة، وتحول العنف ليصبح جزءا من نمط حياتنا، وقد طلبت شريكتي استشارة طبية وحُولت لطبيب نفسي، ولكنها لم تذهب في الموعد.” ويتابع قائلا: “عندما تعود من عملها تطلب الجنس أولا لتصبح عنيفة بعد ذلك، ولقد وصل الأمر إلى الحد الذي بت ألعن اللحظة التي تعود فيها من العمل.” واستطرد قائلا إنه ذات يوم استيقظ ليجد شريكته قد وضعت قيدا حديديا في يده اليمنى والسرير المعدني، ثم بدأت في ضربه على رأسه، ثم ربطت يده الأخرى بحبل نايلون، وأجبرته على ممارسة الجنس. وخلال عطلة في إسبانيا كان جون مذعورا وغير قادر على الاستجابة لطلباتها لذلك ضربته مجددا وتركته مقيدا لنصف ساعة قبل أن تعود وتحرره، ثم رفضت لاحقا الحديث عن ما حدث. وبعد أن صارت شريكته حاملا خففت من وتيرة استعمالها للعنف، ولكن بعد ميلاد طفلهما بعدة أشهر، استيقظ جون مجددا ذات ليلة ليجد نفسه مقيدا في الفراش، ثم أجبرته شريكته على تناول الفياغرا وقيدته وكممته. ويقول جون: ” لم أستطع فعل شيء أمام ما كان يحدث لي”. ويضيف قائلا: “بعد ذلك أخذت حماما، وبعد خروجي من الحمام كان أول سؤال لها.. ماذا لدينا لوجبة العشاء؟”. وتابع جون قائلا إنه عندما حاول إبلاغ الناس بما يحدث كان يجابه بعدم التصديق. ويقول : “كانوا يسألونني لماذا لا تغادر المنزل. حسنا.. لقد اشتريت البيت من أجل أطفالي، كما أن هناك جانبا ماليا في الموضوع وقد نظرت إلى العلاقة من هذه الزاوية، كما أن بعضهم يتساءل لماذا لا ترد على عنفها؟ في الواقع أن الكلام أسهل كثيرا من الفعل، كم تمنيت الهروب من هذا الوضع.” عدم التصديق ما حدث لجون وقع لمجموعة أخرى من الرجال حسبما تقول الدكتورة ويري. وكان من نتائج بحثها أنه في الأغلب تكون الجانية، في حالات “الإيلاج الإجباري” التي يتعرض لها الرجال، الشريكة أو الشريكة السابقة. ما مصير فتاة مصرية قتلت رجلا اتهمته بمحاولة اغتصابها؟ “فضيحة جنسية” تهز الحكومة في أفغانستان كما أشار المشاركون الآخرون أيضا أن الناس لا يصدقونهم عندما يسمعون حكاياتهم. وقال أحد المشاركين إن ضابط شرطة قال له :” لابد أنك كنت مستمتعا، وإلا كنت قمت بالإبلاغ عن الأمر بأسرع مما فعلت.” وقال مشارك آخر: “إننا نشعر بالذعر والحرج من الحديث في الأمر، فلا أحد يصدقنا لأننا رجال، إذ كيف يمكن أن يتعرض رجل لمثل هذه السيناريوهات؟ أنظر إليه.. إنه رجل.” ومن بين النتائج الأخرى التي توصلت لها ويري: الرجال يخجلون من ذكر تجارب الإيلاج الإجباري، فهم ربما يبلغون عن عنف منزلي دون الإشارة للأمر. تجارب الإيلاج الإجباري قد تؤثر على الصحة العقلية، لأن الضحايا تراودهم أفكار تتعلق بالانتحار أو العطب الجنسي. العديد من الضحايا لهم تصورات سلبية عن الشرطة والنظام القضائي والقانون. دحض الأساطير ويدحض بحث ويري الأسطورة التي تقول إن الإيلاج الإجباري مستحيل لأن الرجال أقوى بدنيا من النساء، كما يدحض البحث أسطورة أخرى تقول إن جميع الرجال ينظرون لكل الفرص الجنسية مع النساء بعين الرضا. كما يدحض أيضا أسطورة ثالثة تقول إنه لو كان قضيب الرجل منتصبا فإنه يريد الجنس بالتأكيد. وفي الواقع إن “الانتصاب مجرد استجابة لمحفز”، بحسب الدكتورة ويري. وتضيف قائلة: ” إن القضيب قد ينتصب ويظل كذلك، إذا كان الرجل مذعورا أو غاضبا.. إلخ.” وأوضحت قائلة: “هناك بحث يشير إلى أن النساء قد يستجبن جنسيا لدى تعرضهن للاغتصاب (كحدوث انتشاء) لأن الجسد يستجيب لمحفز وهذه قضية لا يتحدث فيها الضحايا الرجال والنساء بشكل كاف، ولكن هناك دليل على ذلك.” غياب الوعي كما تحدث عدد من المشاركين في البحث عن تجارب إيلاج إجباري تعرضوا لها خلال سُكرهم أو غياب الوعي. وقال أحد المشاركين إنه عاد إلى البيت مع امرأة في أعقاب سهرة بالخارج وبعد أن أعطته عقارا غاب عن الوعي. ويقول إنه أجبر حينئذ على ممارسة جنسية بدون رضاه. كما تحدث آخر عن إجباره على ممارسة الجنس خلال عطلة في مخيم صيفي عندما كان طالبا فقد عثرت زميلة له على رسالة كتبها لصديقه الحميم فهددته بفضحه كمثلي إذا لم يمارس الجنس معها. وقال: “كانت تعتقد أنني لو مارست الجنس مع امرأة لن أصبح مثليا، ولم يكن لي خيار سوى الإذعان.” وتقول ويري إن أغلب
