في ظلّ الأوضاع الحاليّة الّتي يمرّ بها لبنان، إذ يقف على حافة فوضًى جديدة، وهو لمّا يُشفَ بعد من حرب أهليّة أنهكته طوال ثلاثين سنة، يستمرّ “مشروع ليلى” في تقديم أغانٍ تبدو كنبوءة تحذّر من العودة إلى الخلف، والسقوط في مستنقع الدم والدمار، طارحةً الموسيقى والفنّ والاختلاف أفقًا جديدًا، وربّما حلًّا رومانسيًّا في مواجهة الكآبة السياسيّة المقترحة على الدوام.
ليلى أم ليلة؟
من “الجامعة الأمريكيّة” في بيروت، كانت انطلاقة هذه الفرقة، الّتي كانت في البدء مشروعًا فنّيًّا جماعيًّا لمن يرغب من الطلّاب، كان من المفترض أن يكون لليلة واحدة. ومن بين عشرات أجابوا الدعوة استمرّ منهم سبعة فقط، قبل أن ينخفض العدد في نهاية المطاف إلى خمسة أعضاء: حامد سنّو (المغنّي الرئيسيّ)، وهايج بابازيان (عازف الكمان)، وفراس أبو فخر (عازف الجيتار)، وكارل جرجس (عازف الإيقاع)، وإبراهيم بدر (عازف القيثارة). أولئك هم الّذين شكّلوا الجسم النهائيّ للفرقة، الّتي ستثير – على مدى سنوات قادمة – الجدل في المجتمع اللبنانيّ والعربيّ، موسيقيًّا واجتماعيًّا، بأربعة ألبومات مهمّة، وعروض دوليّة كثيرة حاشدة.
أمّا ليلى الّتي سُمّي المشروع تيمّنًا بها، فيستمتع أعضاء “مشروع ليلى” بالتلاعب بالألفاظ، وبالغموض الّذي يحيط باسمها؛ إذ يمكن تفسير الاسم، خاصّةً إذا قُرئ باللغة الإنجليزيّة “مشروع ليلة”. وعندما سُئلت الفرقة في أثناء مقابلة مبكّرة في مشوارهم عن أصل الاسم، ردّ الأعضاء – بشيء من الدعابة – بأنّ الفرقة بدأت المشروع لجمع المال لفتاة يعرفونها تُسمّى ليلى، لكن وفق صفحة الفيسبوك الرسميّة للفرقة، الاسم يعني “مشروع ليلة”، ويعبّر عن الطبيعة الليليّة للمشروع؛ إذ يتميّز بجلسات العزف الّتي تستمرّ طوال الليل.
رسائل حادّة
أمّا الاتّجاه الفنّيّ الّذي يطرحه “مشروع ليلى”، فلا يقبل المهادنة، ولا الخيارات المتردّدة، مرتكزًا على أساليب غنائيّة متعدّدة شرقيّة وغربيّة، بكلمات تلقي الضوء على الجراح الوطنيّة المفتوحة، من نزاع سياسيّ وطائفيّ، أو فساد مؤسّساتيّ، لكنّها أيضًا تتناول بقوّة الهمّ الشخصيّ الخاصّ؛ حين تطرق أبواب قضايا كثيرة تُعَدّ من التابوهات، كالمثليّة والانتماء الدينيّ والهجرة.
ولطالما كانت الفرقة حريصة على أن تحمل أغانيها رسالة حادّة، سواء إلى الساسة أو عرّابي الأفكار المغلقة بلا خوف؛ فعندما برزت الفرقة في “مهرجان بيبلوس” عام 2010، تَصادف وجود رئيس الوزراء اللبنانيّ آنذاك، سعد الحريري، بين الجمهور؛ فانتهز حامد سنو الفرصة ليقدّم أغنيتهم “عَ الحاجز”، وهي أغنية تتناول التجربة المريرة للكثير من سكّان بيروت، في تعاملهم مع الحرّاس، على نقاط التفتيش في الشوارع والأزقّة المرعبة.
وبين أبرز أغاني هذا الألبوم أغنية “يا بحر”، تلك الّتي يرثي بها كلّ حلم بحياة أفضل في أوروبّا، لكنّ البحر لم يُعطِه الفرصة؛ فابتلعه في جوفه العميق. وفيه أغنية “عبدو” بائع الورد المنكسر، الّذي يحبّ أرملة حزينة؛ معبّرًا عن هامش محطَّم تمامًا، في مجتمع وحشيّ لا يهتمّ بالعاطفة.
عام 2011، أصدرت الفرقة أغنية “غدًا يوم أفضل”، مُهديةً إيّاها إلى جيل الثورات العربيّة، ثمّ أتبعتها عام 2013 بألبوم “رقّصوك”، الّذي يُعَدّ من أفضل ألبوماتها، كصرخة ثوريّة بعد أزمة “الربيع العربيّ”، وإجهاض أحلام الشباب العرب في التغيير.
مثليّة حامد
من ناحية أخرى، تتميّز فرقة “مشروع ليلى” بصراحتها في تناول الثيمات الجنسانيّة؛ إذ يُعَدّ سنو من القليلين في العالم العربيّ الّذين يُقرّون بمثليّتهم، معتبرًا أنّ ذلك ليس ذا أهمّيّة، ولا ينبغي أن يكون الطابع الرئيسيّ للفرقة. على الرغم من أنّ هذا الاعتراف سبّب ضجّة رهيبة، وانقسامًا هائلًا بين جمهورهم، إلّا أنّه منح سنو والفرقة بعامّة، مصداقيّة وراحة في التعامل مع الموضوع من منطلق فنّيّ، بل أتاح لهم أيضًا أن يُخرجوا إلى العالم أغانيَ مذهلة، تعالج الأمر بصفته قضيّة وحرّيّة شخصيّة، تستحقّ القتال بشجاعة من أجلها، لكنّ ذلك وحده لم يكن السبب الرئيسيّ للجدل المثار حولهم، ومن ثَمّ الشعبيّة الجارفة الّتي تتمتّع بها الفرقة؛ فبالإضافة إلى كلمات الأغاني الّتي تعبّر عن واقع شبابيّ محبط، فإنّ الأسلوب الموسيقيّ الخاصّ استطاع أن يخاطب الجمهور الشابّ بسلاسة ونجاح للغاية؛ فهي تجمع بين الموسيقى الصاخبة والهادئة، مُشرعة نوافذها على التنوّع والاختلاف، نتيجةً طبيعيّة لتأثيرات العولمة، وما تُتيحه من أشكال للتلاقح.
مَنْع
أحيت الفرقة حفلات عديدة في الخارج، عربيًّا وعالميًّا، بطريقة عصريّة مختلفة عن العروض الغنائيّة الدارجة أداءً ومضمونًا، وكانت الحماسة الجماهيريّة المزيّة المشتركة لكلّ تلك الحفلات.
وفي الحقيقة، ذلك النجاح لم يكن سهلًا؛ فقد تعرّضوا لانتكاسات متمثّلة بالمنع في دول عربيّة عدّة، منها الأردنّ منذ عام 2016، ومصر منذ عام 2017، عندما رُفع علم المثليّين في حفل أقيم في التجمّع الخامس؛ إذ أكّدت “نقابة المهن الموسيقيّة” أنّه لن تمنح الفرقة أيّ تصاريح لإقامة حفلات جديدة.
ربّما يكون ذلك المنع في الواقع جاء تلبية لدعوات كثير من الجماعات والناشطين الاجتماعيّين، الّذين يرون في هذا المشروع الفنّيّ خطرًا، يهدّد القيم والتقاليد الّتي تحافظ على تماسك المجتمع، وفي المقابل يبدو هذا التخوّف في نظر جمهور واسع مثيرًا للسخرية، وشكلًا آخر من أشكال الإرهاب.
لكن بين كلّ تلك الآراء المتضاربة، حيث لا تعود التربة صالحة لزرع الورود – كما يقولون في إحدى أغانيهم – وحيث الشمس مخدّرة ولا تطلع من كروش المسؤولين، وبين العتمة والنور، والحرّيّة والقيود، والصمت والصراخ، والحبّ والكراهية، والحرب والسلام؛ يستمرّ “مشروع ليلى” في مغامرته الجريئة، حالِمًا بحلول رومانسيّة وغدٍ أفضل؛ من أجل الجميع.
