القاضي المكلف بالتحقيق وجه اتهاماً لـ “سافارو ليمتد”
طلبت نقابة المحامين في بيروت من السلطات البريطانية وقف تصفية طوعية لشركة مسجلة في بريطانيا بسبب صلات محتملة لها بانفجار مرفأ بيروت العام الماضي، وذلك وفقاً لرسالة اطلعت عليها وكالة “رويترز”.
وفي الرسالة التي بعثت بها في 25 يناير (كانون الثاني) الجاري إلى المشرعة البريطانية مارغريت هودج، قالت نقابة المحامين إنها طلبت من مكتب تسجيل الشركات في بريطانيا أن يمنع تصفية شركة “سافارو ليمتد”، التي تصفها بأنها “كيان متهم”، للسماح باستمرار التحقيقات في دورها المحتمل في الانفجار.
وتؤكد رسالة نقيب المحامين في بيروت ملحم خلف على أن القاضي اللبناني المكلف بالتحقيق وجه اتهاماً لسافارو وأن السماح لها بالتصفية “قبل نهاية الإجراءات القضائية سيسمح لكيان متهم بالتهرب من العدالة”. وتميط الرسالة اللثام عن لائحة الاتهام المحتملة للشركة.
ولم تتمكن “رويترز” من تأكيد ما إذا كانت الشركة واجهت اتهامات ومتى كان ذلك إن حدث. ولم يرد القاضي ولا وزارة العدل اللبنانية ولا خلف بعد على طلبات للتعليق على الرسالة.
ولم ترد كذلك مارينا سيلو، المسجلة لدى مكتب تسجيل الشركات على أنها مالكة سافارو ومديرتها الوحيدة، على طلب للتعليق على الرسالة.
أما مكتب تسجيل الشركات الذي له سلطة تأجيل تصفية الشركات فقال إنه لا يعلق على القضايا الفردية. وكانت سيلو قدمت في 12 يناير طلباً لمكتب تسجيل الشركات لتصفية سافارو، التي قدمت بيانات سنوية منذ 2008 تفيد بأنها لا تعمل.
وقالت سيلو الأسبوع الماضي بأنها تعمل وكيلة لسافارو نيابة عن مالك آخر لم تكشف عن هويته. ونفت أن تكون للشركة صلة بانفجار لبنان، قائلة إنها تعتقد بأنها لم تقم قط بأي نشاط تجاري.
وخلص تحقيق لـ “رويترز” العام الماضي في انفجار بيروت الذي أودى بحياة 200 إلى أن شحنة سماد نترات الأمونيوم الضخمة التي انفجرت كانت محتجزة في بيروت بينما كانت في طريقها إلى موزامبيق. وقال المشتري الموزامبيقي، شركة (إف إي إم)، أنه اشترى الشحنة من سافارو.
وقالت نقابة المحامين في بيروت في رسالتها إلى هودج إن اسم سافارو وعنوانها “يظهران على وثائق بصفتها مشتري شحنة نترات الأمونيوم عالية الكثافة التي انفجرت في النهاية في أغسطس 2020”.
وكانت هودج دعت الأسبوع الماضي إلى إجراء تحقيق بريطاني بشأن سافارو. وتشير الرسالة إلى أن نقابة المحامين في بيروت مُنحت صفة المدعي في القضية، مما أتاح لها الوصول إلى تفاصيل التحقيق الرسمي في الانفجار.
