CANADAكندا عربي بلدية تورونتو تطرد 461 موظفاً لعدم تحصين أنفسهم ضدّ ’’كوفيد – 19‘‘ by admin 6 يناير، 2022 written by admin 6 يناير، 2022 21 راديو كندا الدولي \ RCI طردت بلدية تورونتو المئات من موظفيها لفشلهم بالالتزام بالمهلة الزمنية لتناول اللقاح التي حددتها لهم، فإمّا أنهم لم يحصّنوا أنفسهم على الإطلاق ضدّ فيروس كورونا أو أنهم لم يبلغوا عن حالة اللقاح الخاصة بهم في الوقت المحدد. وأعلنت بلدية تورونتو أرقامها في هذا المجال في بيان صحفي يوم أمس، فقالت إنّ 32.478 من موظفيها قد أبلغوا أنهم ملقحون بشكل كامل. ويشكل هذا العدد أكثر من 98% من القوة العاملة النشطة في بلدية عاصمة مقاطعة أونتاريو وكبرى مدن كندا. وطردت البلدية 461 موظفاً من عملهم. وكان الموعد النهائي للامتثال لتعليمات البلدية بتناول اللقاح منتصفَ ليل 2 كانون الثاني (يناير)، وهو تمديد لموعد نهائي سابق العام الماضي. وقالت البلدية في بيانها إنه مع ’’مع تزايد الإصابات بمتغيّر أوميكرون الشديد العدوى، بات ضمان حصول جميع موظفي البلدية على التلقيح بشكل كامل أكثر أهمية من أيّ وقت مضى من أجل توفير مكان عمل آمن ودعمِ التقديم المتواصل للخدمات بشكل آمن، وخاصة الخدمات الحيوية والأساسية، للسكان‘‘. ممرضة تعطي امرأة لقاحاً ضدّ فيروس كورونا.الصورة: RADIO-CANADA / BEN NELMS / CBC وأضافت البلدية أنّ 248 من موظفيها أبلغوا عن تلقيهم جرعة واحدة فقط من اللقاح وأنّها ستنظم اجتماعات لهؤلاء مع مدرائهم بدءاً من الأسبوع الحالي. ’’إذا تبيّن في الاجتماع أنّ الموظف المعني لم يحصل بعد على جرعتيْن من اللقاح المضاد لـ’كوفيد – 19‘، يمكن إنهاء التوظيف في اليوم نفسه‘‘، قالت البلدية في بيانها، مضيفةً أنه ’’سيولَى الاعتبار للموظفين الذين لديهم موعد محجوز لجرعتهم الثانية‘‘. وهناك 37 موظفاً آخرون في إجازة مؤقتة بانتظار اتخاذ قرار بشأن طلباتهم بالحصول على تسوية. وأوضحت البلدية أنّ الموظفين الذين لا يستطيعون تلقي اللقاح لسبب مشروع محميون بموجب قانون حقوق الإنسان في أونتاريو ويحق لهم الحصول على تسوية. عمدة تورونتو، جون توري (أرشيف).الصورة: CBC يُذكر أنّ عمدة تورونتو، جون توري، تعهّد يوم الثلاثاء بأنّ إدارته ستحافظ على خدمات الطوارئ والتطعيم وغيرها من الخدمات الأساسية في الأيام والأسابيع المقبلة، على الرغم من أنّ النقص في الموظفين الناجم عن جائحة ’’كوفيد – 19‘‘ فرض إغلاق العشرات من مكتبات المدينة. وقال توري إن البلدية تعيد نشر الموظفين من الأقسام غير الحرجة إلى تلك الحرجة لأنها تتوقع عدداً كبيراً من حالات الغياب غير المخطَّط لها في أوساط الموظفين بسبب الانتشار السريع لأوميكرون. ’’تركيزنا هو على ضمان استمرار البلدية في تقديم الخدمات الأساسية والحيوية التي يعتمد عليها السكان‘‘، أكّد توري. يُشار في هذا الصدد إلى أنّ العدد الكبير من الموظفين المصابين بـ’’كوفيد – 19‘‘ أجبر البلدية على إغلاق 44 مكتبة عامة بشكل مؤقت اعتباراً من يوم الاثنين.
