المغاربة، هي رواية للكاتب المغربي عبد الكريم جويطي، صادرة عن المركز الثقافي العربي سنة 2016، ويصل عدد صفحاتها حوالي 400 صفحة. فازت بجائزة المغرب للكتاب صنف السرديات سنةً بعد صدروها، كما وصلت إلى اللائحة الطويلة لجائزة البوكر في نفس السنة.
تحكي الرواية قصة محمد الغافقي ومعاناته مع فقدانه لبصره الذي بدأ يتدهور منذ أن كان طفلا إلى أن أصيب بعمىً تام في بداية عقده الثاني.
هذا العمى، والذي له أبعاد رمزية داخل الرواية، سيكون سببا في تعرض محمد لِأعطابٍ جسدية ونفسية، بل إن عَمَاه ذاك، سيُؤْدي الذين يحيطون به خاصة شقيقه العسكري (المعطوب هو الآخر) والفتاة التي سَيُحب. فلأنه أعمى، سيتسبّب في طرد الفتاة التي يُحب من بيت مُشَغلها، وحتى حينما يسعى إلى الزواج منها ويأتي بها من بيت والدَيها، لم يقدر، لأنه أعمى، على حمايتها من اختطاف (سرقة) صديقه (الأعمى الآخر) لها، الأمر الذي نتج عنه، أي الاختطاف، سجن شقيقه العسكري لشهور، ودخوله في حربٍ مع مختطف زوجته تَنْتَهي بسفكٍ للدماء. يقول محمد: “انتهى كل شيء. وصار بإمكاني أن أتعامل مع ما يجري بحياد تام. هو الآن ممدَّد بجانبي شبه جثة هامدة، ونحن في سيارة إسعاف لا تتحرك بالعجلة المعتادة…” (ص 7).
بالعودة إلى مسألة العمى بمعناه الواسع وليس فقط فقدان القدرة على النظر، بل فقدان البصيرة، فقدان الحصافة، فقدان العقل، فقدان الكياسة… نفهم من الرواية أننا في الغالب ما نكون عُمْياناً، فلا نعرف أين نسير، ولا أين نضع خطواتنا، ولا خطورة ما نحن مقدمون عليه.
بالجُملة، نَعيشُ في تِيهٍ.
طبعا، لا تَقف الرواية عند مسألة العمى وقصة محمد معه فحسب، بل تتجاوز ذلك لتغوص في قضايا أخرى مُبَلْبِلَة للذهن، فنجد على سبيل المثال: القبيلة، الذاكرة، السلطة، الاستبداد، القهر، الجوع، الجهل، الدين، الخوف… وكيف ساهمت كل هذه الأمور في بناء -للأسف- عقلية مغربية مصابة بعددٍ عديدٍ من العقد أو الأمراض أهمها: التسلط، الرهاب والجهل. نقرأ في هذا الصدد: “لأن المغرب كان بعيدا جدا، في طرف سحيق من الإمبراطوريات، حيث تخف قبضة الدولة والدين والتاريخ، فقد كان دوما مُلكاً مشاعا للمدّعين والحالمين بالسلطة والكذابين الكبار..” (ص 122). هنا جويطي يُشير إلى باشوات وقياد حكموا المغرب فخربوا بيوتا وقطعوا رؤوس رجالها وسبوا نساءها واستعبدوا أطفالها… نقرأ كذلك: “شعب بلا خيال لم يحلم بمجتمع آخر إلا من خلال متنبئين فاشلين ومدعين بئيسين للمهدوية. أينما وليت وجهك ترى الشعب وزع كل آلامه على القبور، وخص كل واحد منها بشفاء مرض وقعد على قارعة التاريخ ينتظر الكرامات..” (ص 122). وهنا، بعدما يُشير جويطي إلى فساد الحاكم وتسلطه (هنالك مواضع أخرى عديدة يشير فيها الكاتب إلى هذا الأمر)، يقف عند جهل المحكوم. وإن كان الأخير مغلوبا عليه، ولكن رغم ذلك، له يد في جهله كما يلاحظ القارئ في إشارات عديدة داخل نص الرواية.
إننا أمام نص –بدون مبالغة- باذخ يكتب فيه جويطي عن: -يقول على لسان إحدى شخصياته- “أكتب عن نفسي، عن الصحراء، وعن لا شيء، وعن السلاطين والأولياء الصالحين[…]، أكتب عن المغاربة.” (ص 144-145). يكتب فيه عن تخلفنا، عن عُمْينا، عن جهلنا، عن تسلطنا وتجبرنا نحن المغاربة.
طبعا، من حقنا كقراء وكمغاربة عموما، أن نُسائل جويطي: من أعطاك الحق لكي تتحدث باسمنا نحن المغاربة؟ من أين لك حق تَقييمنا وإطلاق الأحكام في حقنا؟ فيُجيبنا بسؤال استنكاري يحمل في طياته الجواب وأكثر من الجواب. يقول: “ومن أعطى للفنانات والفنانين الرديئين والعاهرات والقوادين وحثالة السياسيين والصحافيين هذا الحق؟” (ص 145) بمعنى أنه، إذا كان للعاهرات والقوادين وحثالة السياسيين… الحق في الحديث باسم المغاربة، فكيف لا يكون من حقه ذلك وهو الرجل المثقفُ والمفكرُ والعارِفُ بالتاريخ المغاربة؟ لقد لجأ جويطي إلى كتابة الرواية (هنا قيمة الرواية) من أجل انتقاد وَضعٍ باتت فيه الراقصة، وشبه الفنان، والسياسي الأمّي… من يتكلم باسمنا نحن المغاربة!
ويا للمفارقة!
يقول: “الكتابة هي فعل المقاومة الوحيد والمتبقي في بلد صمتت طيوره عن الغناء، وصارت أزهاره ترفض أن تتفتح في الصباح، وتوقفت أشجاره عن النمو، بلد أتى عليه حين من الدهر صارت فيه رايته منشفة يجفف به المغنون التافهون عرقهم في السهرات، والعاهرات يحارضن فيه عن الفضيلة، واللصوص يقومون فيه بالدعاية بمحاربة الجريمة…” (145).
إن المغاربة، نص قيم جدا، يستحق صاحبه، منا نحن القراء المغاربة بالخصوص والعرب عموما، كل التقدير والإجلال، ويجب على كل مغربي يجيد القراءة، مطالعته لكي يقف عند جزء من تاريخ أجداده. فقد لا نتفق مع كل ما يحويه النص، إلا أننا نؤكد على ضرورة قراءته، لأنه لابد وأن يترك خدشا ما في نفسيتنا نحن المغاربة. قلنا خدشا لأنه يخاطبنا بشيء من القوة، القسوة، الحدة… التي تجعلنا نرى أنفسنا من خلاله فتتراءى أمامنا عيوبنا وأعطابنا وفشلنا وعنفنا وضعفنا وشرنا… وطبعا، قُوتنا وخَيرنا وعَدلنا إن بقي من ذلك شيئا.
وما أحوجنا إلى ذلك: أن نرى أنفسنا في المرآة، لكن عُرَاةً وبدون مَسَاحيق.
