وفيرصيد البطلة الأولمبيّة المولودة في أونتاريو، 6 ميداليّات (نافذة جديدة)، واحدة ذهبيّة ووفضيّتان و 3 ميداليّات برونزيّة.
وفازت أولكسياك بأربع ميداليّات في دورة ريو الأولمبيّة عام 2016، وأحرزت ميداليّتين في أولمبياد طوكيو، الأولى فضيّة في سباق التتابع 4 مرّات 100 متر، والثانية برونزيّة في سباق 200 متر سباحة حرّة.
وأعربت أولكسياك عن فخرها بعد فوزها بالميداليّة البرونزيّة، وقالت إنّها بذلت جهدا كبيرا في الخمسين مترا الأخيرة من السباق.
وأحرزت الأستراليّة أريان تيتموس الميداليّة الذهبيّة في هذا السباق وقطعت المسافة في دقيقة و50 ثانية و 50 جزءا من مئة.
اعتقدت في وقت من الأوقات أنّني سَأفقد أعصابي قالت بيني أولكسياك، و كانت في وضع نفسيّ أفضل ممّا كانت عليه في دورة البرازيل الأولمبيّة عام 2016.
واضافت أنّها لم تبلغ هذه المرحلة بالصدفة وإنّما بفضل الجهود التي بذلتها.
