قناة يورو نيوز/ ردت برلين بغضب الأحد على لسان وزير الاقتصاد في حكومة المستشارة أنجيلا ميركل على عرض للرئيس الأمريكي شراء حقوق ملكية لقاح ألماني ضد فيروس كورونا بمليار دولار على أن يقتصر استغلاله في أمريكا فقط، إذ قال الوزير بيتر ألتماير في مقابلة مع تلفزيون إي آر دي المحلي: “ألمانيا ليست للبيع”
وكانت إدارة ترامب قد عرضت “مبالغ هائلة” بهدف أن تمتلك “حصرياً” لقاح فيروس كورونا، الذي يتم تطويره من قبل شركة ألمانية، بحسب إفادة صحيفة دي فيلت الألمانية
ويؤكد تقرير دي فيلت ما نُشر في نهاية الأسبوع في وكالات إخبارية عالمية، ويقول إن ترامب حاول نقل قسم الأبحاث لشركة “كيورفاك” ومقرها الأساسي في توبينجن، ألمانيا، إلى الولايات المتحدة لتطوير اللقاح حصرياً لمرضى الفيروس في الولايات المتحدة
وأكدت وزارة الصحة الألمانية بعد ظهر أمس الأحد، أن واشنطن حاولت الاستيلاء على “كيورفاك” المصنعة للأدوية، فيما أشارت مصادر حكومية إلى أن برلين تقدم حوافز مالية للشركة فاكس للبقاء في ألمانيا
وقال المتحدث باسم وزارة الصحة الألمانية، إن برلين “مهتمة جداً بضمان تطوير اللقاحات والمواد الفعالة ضد الفيروس التاجي الجديد في ألمانيا وأوروبا”
ولكن سفير الولايات المتحدة في ألمانيا، ريتشارد غرينيل، غرد على تويتر قائلاً إن المعلومات “غير صحيحة”، وأن وكالات الإعلام ومنها “رويترز وبزنس إنسايدر مضت في نشرها رغم أنها لا تملك مصادر…”
تم دعوة ممثلي شركات الأدوية إلى البيت الأبيض الأسبوع الماضي، لمناقشة تطورات لقاح الكورونا
وكان دانييل مينيشيلا، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة “كيورفاك” موجوداً إضافة لنائب الرئيس مايك بنس وأعضاء فريق مكافحة الفيروسات التاجية الخاص بترامب
وكشف بيان صحفي لشركة “كيورفاك” أن مينيشيلا أبلغ المسؤولين الأمريكيين عن اللقاحات المعمول بها حاليا معبراً عن أمله بأن يكون اللقاح التجريبي جاهزاً بحلول أوائل الصيف القادم
كما أثار الخبر ردود فعل غاضبة، طالبت برلين أن تفعل كل ما هو ممكن، لمنع الولايات المتحدة من التحكم والاستحواذ على لقاح فيروس كورونا
وقال كارل لوترباخ، النائب الاشتراكي الديمقراطي: “النظام الأمريكي ارتكب عملا غير ودي، إن العاملين الصحيين في ألمانيا والمرضى في جميع أنحاء العالم، بحاجة للوصول للقاح الذي يتم تطويره في ألمانيا، ولا ينبغي لأي دولة أن تكون قادرة على شراء الوصول الحصري للقاح… الرأسمالية لها حدود…”
