Zellers coming to Mic Mac Mall

Haligonians will soon be able to shop at Zellers again.

Dartmouth’s Mic Mac Mall has been announced as one of 25 locations getting a “store within a store.”

In a news release, parent company Hudson’s Bay Co. (HBC) said Zellers will take up between 8,000 and 10,000 square feet within an existing Hudson’s Bay store.

“Customers will be greeted with a thoughtful selection of design-led products across home decor, toys, baby, apparel and pets, housed within Zellers’ signature red and white that will guide customers along in their retail journey,” HBC said in a news release.

Shoppers will also be able to order products online through zellers.ca.

Mic Mac Mall is one of only two locations in Atlantic Canada getting a Zellers. The other will be at Sydney’s Mayflower Mall.

An exact launch date hasn’t yet been announced, but the stores are expected to open sometime this spring.
