Police have charged a youth in connection to a bomb threat at Lockview High School in Fall River, N.S.

On May 8, officers responded to the school after a report of a bomb threat and determined there was no risk to the public.

Police said there was a threatening message written in a bathroom stall and through the course of the investigation, a male youth from Wellington, N.S. was identified as being involved in the threats.

On June 26, the youth was arrested arrested and later released.

Police said the youth has been charged with Uttering Threats and Mischief.

He’s scheduled to appear in Halifax Youth Justice Court later this month.
