Woodside ferry service reduced to every 30 minutes

The municipality is announcing some service disruptions that will impact Halifax Transit ferry service moving forward.

The Woodside ferry will be operating on a 30 minute schedule on weekdays until further notice due to “unforeseen maintenance issues”.

That’s on top of the reductions that already have the Alderney ferry on a 30 minute schedule right now.

There’s no timeframe being offered for when full service might resume, but HRM did say the reduction was temporary.
