According to Halifax Regional Police, officers tried to pull over a suspected impaired driver near Brunswick And Prince streets just before 4 a.m. Friday. Police said the driver refused to stop and the pursuit was called off. The suspect allegedly tried to hit the officers with her vehicle but missed, and the driver eventually crashed into a parked car on Tower Rd. The suspect, 24-year-old Haley Nicole Quinn Is facing charges including impaired driving and assaulting a peace officer with a weapon.
