The Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) says RCMP Corpoal Dale Keeping, from the West Hants detatchment, has been charged with assault. It says the charge is in relation to the assault of a youth on March 8, 2024. The investigation started in May after a referral from the RCMP and the Department of Community Services. “This criminal charge is disconcerting and we take these incidents seriously,” Jason Popik, a statement from RCMP Superintendent, reads. “The member, Cpl. Dale Keeping, is currently on administrative duties. His duty status will be reviewed pending an internal code of conduct investigation and the court process.” According to SiRT, Keeping will be in court on Oct. 29 to answer to the charge. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Helene strengthens to a Category 4 hurricane as it nears Florida’s Gulf Coast next post Nova Scotia government defends funding offer rejected by wine industry You may also like CITYnews halifax: Police call for information after man... 29 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax : N.S. invests in Cape Breton... 29 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: RCMP take 24 unsafe vehicles off... 29 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: UN ambassador Lametti: Canada pushing for... 29 يونيو، 2026 CITYnews halifax: Eustáquio nets winner, Canada advances to... 29 يونيو، 2026 CBC : Canada keeps historic World Cup run... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Israël, le Liban et les États-Unis annoncent... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Carney se justifie d’avoir évité de mentionner... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: L’Ontario n’augmentera pas le nombre limite de... 28 يونيو، 2026 RCI: Why Europe can’t air condition its way... 28 يونيو، 2026
