The Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) says RCMP Corpoal Dale Keeping, from the West Hants detatchment, has been charged with assault. It says the charge is in relation to the assault of a youth on March 8, 2024. The investigation started in May after a referral from the RCMP and the Department of Community Services. “This criminal charge is disconcerting and we take these incidents seriously,” Jason Popik, a statement from RCMP Superintendent, reads. “The member, Cpl. Dale Keeping, is currently on administrative duties. His duty status will be reviewed pending an internal code of conduct investigation and the court process.” According to SiRT, Keeping will be in court on Oct. 29 to answer to the charge. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Helene strengthens to a Category 4 hurricane as it nears Florida’s Gulf Coast next post Nova Scotia government defends funding offer rejected by wine industry You may also like New poll shows Houston’s PCs maintaining big lead... 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Cape Breton Police issue emergency alert as they... 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Safety board calls for changes two years after... 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Fuel prices rise across Nova Scotia 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Halifax International Security Forum begins 16th year amid... 22 نوفمبر، 2024 Liberals plan to send $250 cheques to Canadians,... 2024 Halifax security forum gathers as Trump’s support for... 21 نوفمبر، 2024
