Weekend weather brings a mixed bag of flurries and colder temperatures

It looks like Saturday will be your best bet when it comes to the weekend weather.

We could see a passing flurry or two Friday, with winds gusting as high as 50 km/h, making today’s guaranteed high of 0 C feel much colder.

“If you’re travelling near the Bay of Fundy or the Minas Basin, you might encounter some more organized snow squalls.” said 95.7 NewsRadio Weather Specialist Allistar Aalders.

Aalders said that we will see the sun mixing with a few clouds on Saturday, but it will remain cold. Daytime highs will only reach 0, and the wind will make it feel colder than that.

Sunday, we can expect a chance of a flurry or two, and it will be cold, with a daytime high only reaching -8.

Monday, we should see some partial clearing with highs around -4.
