HRM says high bacteria levels have resulted in a water quality advisory at Kinap Beach __Stock Photo CANADAHALIFAX news Water quality advisory issued for Kinap Beach by admin 2 أغسطس، 2024 written by admin 2 أغسطس، 2024 215 By CityNews Halifax Staff Halifax Regional Municipality has issued a water quality advisory for Kinap Beach due to high bacteria levels in the water. That means people are being advised not to swim at the supervised beach in Porters Lake until further notice. High bacteria levels can be caused by a number of factors, including dogs, birds, wildlife or from high temperatures, lower water levels and recent heavy rainfall. In a release, the municipality says staff will continue testing the water and will lift the advisory when levels reach Health Canada guidelines. While a recreational water quality advisory is in effect, use of the beach area is at the user’s own risk. HRM says lifeguards will remain on-site during regular hours to advise against swimming. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Heat warnings issued for areas west of HRM with a hot, sticky long weekend in the forecast next post واشنطن وموسكو تتبادلان 24 محتجزاً من بينهم الكندي المولد بول ويلان You may also like World Cup trophy tour comes to Halifax 23 مايو، 2026 Halifax police warn public to watch their drinks... 2026 Alderney service back to reduced schedule three days... 22 مايو، 2026 Gas prices to change again as interrupter is... 22 مايو، 2026 First-degree murder charge laid in case of missing... 22 مايو، 2026 N.S. resort is the latest using high-tech blankets... 22 مايو، 2026 Drugs and weapons seized at a home in... 22 مايو، 2026
