HRM says high bacteria levels have resulted in a water quality advisory at Kinap Beach __Stock Photo CANADAHALIFAX news Water quality advisory issued for Kinap Beach by admin 2 أغسطس، 2024 written by admin 2 أغسطس، 2024 145 By CityNews Halifax Staff Halifax Regional Municipality has issued a water quality advisory for Kinap Beach due to high bacteria levels in the water. That means people are being advised not to swim at the supervised beach in Porters Lake until further notice. High bacteria levels can be caused by a number of factors, including dogs, birds, wildlife or from high temperatures, lower water levels and recent heavy rainfall. In a release, the municipality says staff will continue testing the water and will lift the advisory when levels reach Health Canada guidelines. While a recreational water quality advisory is in effect, use of the beach area is at the user’s own risk. HRM says lifeguards will remain on-site during regular hours to advise against swimming. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Heat warnings issued for areas west of HRM with a hot, sticky long weekend in the forecast next post واشنطن وموسكو تتبادلان 24 محتجزاً من بينهم الكندي المولد بول ويلان You may also like Nova Scotia sees 35 per cent drop in... 9 يناير، 2025 Will Lebanon finally elect a president after a... 9 يناير، 2025 Man wanted for homicides in Colchester County arrested... 9 يناير، 2025 Mounties investigate shots fired in Cole Harbour 9 يناير، 2025 Halifax murder trial: Eyewitness describes fatal stabbing of... 7 يناير، 2025 Halifax police look for missing 35-year-old man last... 7 يناير، 2025 Family doctor waitlist numbers drop, Nova Scotia Health... 7 يناير، 2025 Man in his 70s killed at crosswalk; HRP... 7 يناير، 2025 Former volunteer pleads guilty to fraud after funds... 7 يناير، 2025 ترودو أَنجَز للأمم الأوَل ’’أكثر من أيّ رئيس... 7 يناير، 2025
