HRM says high bacteria levels have resulted in a water quality advisory at Kinap Beach __Stock Photo CANADAHALIFAX news Water quality advisory issued for Kinap Beach by admin 2 أغسطس، 2024 written by admin 2 أغسطس، 2024 158 By CityNews Halifax Staff Halifax Regional Municipality has issued a water quality advisory for Kinap Beach due to high bacteria levels in the water. That means people are being advised not to swim at the supervised beach in Porters Lake until further notice. High bacteria levels can be caused by a number of factors, including dogs, birds, wildlife or from high temperatures, lower water levels and recent heavy rainfall. In a release, the municipality says staff will continue testing the water and will lift the advisory when levels reach Health Canada guidelines. While a recreational water quality advisory is in effect, use of the beach area is at the user’s own risk. HRM says lifeguards will remain on-site during regular hours to advise against swimming. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Heat warnings issued for areas west of HRM with a hot, sticky long weekend in the forecast next post واشنطن وموسكو تتبادلان 24 محتجزاً من بينهم الكندي المولد بول ويلان You may also like N.S. cuts contract with agency that runs restorative... 24 أبريل، 2025 Hudson’s Bay to liquidate remaining stores as hope... 24 أبريل، 2025 Canadian rocker Bryan Adams announces Halifax show 24 أبريل، 2025 Police warn residents of suspicious man who approached... 24 أبريل، 2025 Doctors, drugs and dental: where each federal party... 2025 Teen charged with manslaughter after drug overdose in... 23 أبريل، 2025 First-of-its-kind centre in Dartmouth gives province a bio... 23 أبريل، 2025 Halifax police searching for guns in Dartmouth residence 23 أبريل، 2025
