Elections Nova Scotia says they should be arriving in the mailboxes later this week. If you don’t get a card because you’re not on the Nova Scotia Registry of Electors, you can still vote as long as you’re a Canadian citizen who is at least 18 years old as of election day, and you’ve lived in Nova Scotia since January 17, 2021. Appropriate ID is required. Nova Scotians go to the polls on Tuesday, August 17, but if you already know who you’re voting for, you don’t have to wait to cast your ballot. We’re still in the early voting period and those eligible can head to any returning office or early voting location in the province.
