On Tuesday, police were called to a lot in the 600 block of Portland Street after a report of vandalism. Police believe that the damage was done around 9:15 p.m. on Canada Day. Estimates peg the damage to the vehicles at more than $100,000. The suspect is described as wearing dark-coloured pants, a white, long sleeve shirt, and a dark-coloured brimmed hat with their face covered at the time. Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or video from the area is asked to call Halifax Regional Police.
