At roughly 5:40 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Booth Street where they found a home and a vehicle that had been struck. There were no reported injuries. Police said they later found the suspect vehicle near Bras Dor Lane in Dartmouth and arrested four people at a home. One person was released without charges. Nakell Louis Grandy, 20, Joshua Mitchell Fairbairn, 19, and Lennard Antonio Melville, 19, were all scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court on Thursday to face a slew of charges including discharging a firearm into or at a place in a reckless manner, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, among many others. Police said Grandy is also facing eight counts of possessing a firearm or ammunition contrary to a court order and two counts of breaching a probation order.
