Police say at roughly 11:25 a.m., officers responded to the Sobeys on Wyse Road where two men stole merchandise, assaulted an employee and then fled the area on foot. The two suspects were arrested a short time later. According to HRP, the suspect who assaulted the employee tried to run from officers but was quickly taken into custody after a brief struggle. Justin Russell Stroud, 28, was scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court Wednesday to face charges of: Robbery with violence.
