Two people charged for break and enters in downtown Halifax

Regional police have charge two people in connection to a pair of break and enters in Halifax this month.

On Monday at roughly 4:35 a.m., officers responded to a break and enter in progress at a business on Lower Water Street.

Police said when they arrived on scene, two people ran away but were quickly captured after a brief foot chase.

According to HRP, the two suspects were responsible for a break and enter at the same business earlier in the month.

Ibrahim Alnaasan, 22, and a 16-year-old youth were scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court on Monday to face charges of mischief, possession of break tools and break and enter.
