Two-month drug investigation ends with 11 charged: Halifax police

Eleven people are facing drug and firearm charges after a two-month investigation by Halifax Regional Police (HRP).

The agency announced the charges on Thursday, and said the investigation culminated with searches of three homes and five vehicles including searches in Cape Breton.

According to HRP, more than 400 grams of cocaine was seized along with $15,000, a firearm and ammunition.

All of the people charged will be in court at a later date, and two will be appearing in court in Sydney.

Anyone with information about illegal firearms or drugs is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020.
