CANADAHALIFAX news Two men face charges after Westphal break and enter by admin 7 أغسطس، 2024 written by admin 7 أغسطس، 2024 158 By CityNews Halifax Staff The RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment’s Street Crime Enforcement Unit have arrested two men connected to an alleged break and enter in Westphal. According to the RCMP, the incident stems from July 25, when officers were called to a business on Hwy. 7. At the scene, police learned that a sea container on the property was broken into and its contents, valued at over $20,000, was stolen. Police identified, located and soon safely arrested both suspects after they were seen in the vicinity of a home known to them, located on Montague Rd. in Lake Loon. Executing a search warrant at the home, officers located and seized a portion of the property stolen from the sea container. On July 26, officers recovered the remainder of the stolen property, which had been sold to a local business. A 41-year-old man from Lake Loon and 28-year old Moncton man will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date to face several charges including breaking and entering with intent, theft over $5,000 and other charges.
