Two charged with aggravated assault after incident in Clayton Park

Regional police has laid charges against two people after a youth was allegedly assaulted in Clayton Park earlier this month.

According to police, on Jan. 5 over the noon hour, a youth was assaulted by a group of youths in a wooded area near 200 Thomas Raddall Dr. A separate group of young people found the victim and brought them to a nearby school, and they were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

One person was arrested on Jan. 17, and another on Jan. 18 at homes in Halifax.

A 16- and 19-year-old now face charges of aggravated assault.
