Halifax Regional Police were called to the Rona on Almon Street at around 2:20 a.m. They say two men broke in and took merchandise before running off. Two suspects were arrested in a vehicle nearby. Shawn Jarvis Hirtle, 46, and Adam Levin, 34, are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face charges of break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and mischief.
