Twelve-year-old arrested after stabbing in Middle Sackville

RCMP have arrested a youth after a stabbing in Middle Sackville.

Around 7:30 last evening, mounties were called to Millwood Drive where reports of a 15-year-old teen was stabbed by a 12 year-old girl during a fight.

Officers safely arrested the 12-year-old at the scene.

The victim suffered serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries and was transported to hospital.

The 12-year-old was later released on conditions and will appear in court at a later date.

The investigation remains ongoing.
