Summer is over and so is weekly green cart collection.

The Halifax Regional Municipality says the service moved to bi-weekly on earlier this month.

“Weekly curbside green cart collection is provided to all residents during the summer months of July, August and September,” the municipality said in a news release.

“Green cart collection service returned to every two weeks on Monday, Oct. 4.”
