Police say a man showed staff a firearm and demanded money

A Spring Garden Road business was robbed Wednesday afternoon.

Halifax Regional Police say just before 3:30 p.m., a man showed staff a firearm and demanded money before running off with cash.

The suspect is described as white, around 5’5″ and was carrying a grey backpack.

He was wearing a light blue jacket, black hoodie, dark pants, grey gloves and sunglasses. He had a black scarf covering his face.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
