Speed limit to be lowered on section of Portland Street

Crews will be putting up new signage this week

The Halifax Regional Municipality says the speed will be lowered on a section of Portland Street.

The limit will be reduced from 60 km/h to 50 km/h between Portland Estates Boulevard and Portland Hills Drive.

In a news release, the municipality says crews will be putting up new signage this week.
