Speed limit to be lowered on section of Beaver Bank Road

HRM says the top speed will be reduced to 60 km/h

The speed limit will soon be lowered in a section of Beaver Bank Road.

The Halifax Regional Municipality says the top speed will be reduced to 60 km/h between Windgate Drive and Kinsac Road.

“This change is a result of an assessment of the corridor, related to changes in conditions and activities along the roadway,” said HRM in a news release.

Crews have already put up the new signage to notify drivers.
