Speed limit to be lowered in Bedford neighbourhood

The new speed limit will impact Ridgevale

The Halifax Regional Municipality says the speed will be lowered in a Bedford neighbourhood.

The limit will be reduced from 50 km/h to 40 km/h on residential streets bound by Dartmouth Road and the Bedford Bypass.

This will impact:

• Ridgevale Drive
• Brentwood Drive
• Ambercrest Drive
• Mellowglen Court
• Canfield Court
• Lowe Court
• Parkvale Crescent
• Adlington Court
• Quinn Court
• Holiday Lane
• North Street
• Main Street
• Brockwell Street
• Lister Drive

Speed limits on public roadways are legislated by the province’s Motor Vehicle Act.
