A release from HRP said officers were in the 5000 block of Kent St in response to the call and that there was no threat to public safety. A witness at the scene told 95.7 NewsRadio that the incident began around 10 o’clock last night and that it’s believed that there was a person inside a residence in a standoff with officers. Members of the Emergency Response Unit, a drone and a police dog were all seen in the area.
