As of early Sunday morning, Environment Canada expects the snow to start falling in the Halifax area sometime around dawn tomorrow and continue into the evening. Meteorologists think we could get 15 to 20 cm in our area, while potentially exceeding 30 cm in eastern Nova Scotia. Wind gusts could reach 60 km/h in the afternoon. “Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions,” the warning said. “Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.” The snow shouldn’t stick around for long. The forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday is calling for sun with highs of 6 and 10 degrees respectively. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post BEYOND LOCAL: Where our thoughts come from and how microemotions affect spontaneous thought next post More Canadian seniors becoming victims of scams You may also like Man faces long list of charges after standoff... 13 مارس، 2025 استطلاع: 40% من الكنديين يخشون فقدان وظائفهم 13 مارس، 2025 كندا تخفف العقوبات المالية عن سوريا وتندّد بالمجازر... 13 مارس، 2025 ‘Get ready for a wild ride’: Weather Network... 13 مارس، 2025 Clear skies expected in much of Nova Scotia... 13 مارس، 2025 Nova Scotia NDP urging public to weigh in... 13 مارس، 2025 Unsafe tap water is common in Newfoundland.
