As of early Sunday morning, Environment Canada expects the snow to start falling in the Halifax area sometime around dawn tomorrow and continue into the evening. Meteorologists think we could get 15 to 20 cm in our area, while potentially exceeding 30 cm in eastern Nova Scotia. Wind gusts could reach 60 km/h in the afternoon. “Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions,” the warning said. “Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.” The snow shouldn’t stick around for long.
