According to the HRM staff document, there are 25 people sleeping rough at two of the remaining designated sites in the municipality. As of April 2025, 40 individuals were residing across five designated encampment sites. Submitted to councillors ahead of Tuesday’s meeting, the report is part of quarterly updates on the HRM’s strategy to address homelessness in the region. While 25 are sleeping at the sites on Barrington Street and Green Park Road, the report also counts 20 to 25 people sleeping in what are deemed non-designated locations. The report adds that the municipality is on track to close down the remaining designated encampments by or before its target date of November 2027. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Man faces charges after altercation with Halifax police next post RCMP arrest man for child luring in Colchester County You may also like Cannes 2026 : le cinéma mondial prend d’assaut... 12 مايو، 2026 Luan Larobina, voix argentine de la Gaspésie, remporte... 12 مايو، 2026 L’ONU appelle Ottawa à adopter les modifications de... 12 مايو، 2026 Zelensky affirme qu’un accord sur la fourniture de... 12 مايو، 2026 Paul St-Pierre Plamondon craint que son parti soit... 12 مايو، 2026 Un investissement de 18 millions $ pour le... 12 مايو، 2026 Police still looking for answers in three-decade-old Dartmouth... 12 مايو، 2026 RCMP arrest man for child luring in Colchester... 12 مايو، 2026 Man faces charges after altercation with Halifax police 12 مايو، 2026 MP calls on Canadians to fill out census... 12 مايو، 2026
