Residents asked to avoid scene after alleged shooting in Dartmouth

Halifax Regional Police are investigating an alleged shooting in Dartmouth.

Just after 11 p.m. on May 2, police say they were called to Murray Hill Drive, where they located one man who police say was in serious condition and taken to hospital.

HRP warn that residents may notice an increased police presence in the area as the investigation is ongoing.

They are asking people to avoid the area.

More details to come as the investigation continues.
