Postmedia’s Bruce Garrioch reports that the group “is prepared to bid more than $1 billion to buy the Senators and the Canadian Tire Centre.” Garrioch had previously reported the deadline for the second and final round of bids for the team is May 15. Reynolds was very visible around the Senators in the final weeks of the season and also had meetings with Ottawa mayor Mark Sutcliffe as well as the National Capital Commission — which owns the LeBreton Flats land being targeted for a new downtown arena. Garrioch adds that the team has met with seven potential ownership groups, and that Reynolds and Remington would speak with local investors about joining them if they are successful in their bid. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Sexual assault and child pornography charges laid after Dartmouth search next post Police activity in North Preston as RCMP executes warrant You may also like Investigation into homicide of pregnant Halifax woman continues... 24 نوفمبر، 2024 First Canadian case of more severe mpox strain... 2024 Wind and rainfall warnings issued for parts of... 2024 New poll shows Houston’s PCs maintaining big lead... 22 نوفمبر، 2024
