Halifax Regional Police say a replica handgun was seized during an arrest Wednesday afternoon.

At around 4 p.m., police were told a man — who appeared to have a firearm — was in the Halifax Transit Bridge Terminal on Nantucket Avenue.

A suspect was arrested without incident.

The 19-year-old man will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date to face charges of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, use of an imitation firearm and public mischief.
