RCMP seek assistance in locating missing teen last seen on Highway 102

Halifax RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 14-year-old from Truro who was reported missing April 11.

Police believe Kayla (Kayda) Westcott was last seen on Highway 102, near exit 5A (Kelley Lake scale house). She is described as 5’7″, approximately 140 lbs, with red hair and hazel eyes.

Police believe she is travelling towards Dartmouth (Shubie Trail)

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Westcott is asked to contact the Halifax Regional Detachment RCMP at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
