On Sunday at roughly 3 a.m., Mounties responded to reports of shots fired at a home on Cain Street near Churchill Terrace where officers learned that the occupants of a home, a 50-year-old woman and 51-year-old man, heard multiple gun shots and bullets hitting the home. According to RCMP, officers seized empty casings and discovered bullet holes on the outside of the home. No injuries were reported. Police said they do not believe this was a random incident.
