The incident occurred in Martins River on Hwy. 10 just after 10 a.m., closing Hwy. 103, between exits 10 and 9, for several hours. The RCMP say a Mazda CX-5 travelling westbound collided with one, possibly two, semi-tractor trailers — one travelling east and the other travelling west. The mounties say the 28-year-old driver and sole occupant of the Mazda was pronounced dead at the scene.
