But it looks like the province won’t see any significant rainfall to help with the battle against wildfires until Monday at the earliest. Allister Aalders, 95.7 NewsRadio weather specialist, says the weekend forecast looks fair, with no rain expected until Sunday night and into Monday. “These will be scattered once again with the risk of an embedded thunderstorm,” he said. After those showers pass through on Monday, Aalders says the next chance of significant rain won’t come until mid to late next week.
