Housing minister John Lohr announced Friday he had designated Fall River South as a special planning area. The designation will allow for a 120-unit development to move forward on a 12-hectare parcel of land at the end of Ingram Dr. The province said the designation came on the recommendation of the Executive Panel on Housing in the Halifax Regional Municipality. “The developer will now work with municipal planning and development staff to move the project forward,” the province said in a release. “Projects in special planning areas are subject to permitting, fees and safety and regulatory requirements specified in the Housing in the Halifax Regional Municipality Act.” In late 2022, a tie vote to an amendment on the development resulted in council rejecting the plan. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post William Hall to be honoured for Heritage Day next post ترودو يقلل من أهمية التباينات في حزبه بشأن الحرب في غزة You may also like جولي ولوبلان في فلوريدا للقاء ممثلين عن إدارة... 27 ديسمبر، 2024 Police investigate sudden death of Dartmouth man 27 ديسمبر، 2024 ‘Now’s the time’: As Canada ramps up housing,... 2024 What to do in and around Halifax this... 26 ديسمبر، 2024 Buoyed by election win, Nova Scotia premier tones... 26 ديسمبر، 2024
