CANADAHALIFAX news Province now requires criminal record checks, training for late-night bar security staff by admin 13 مايو، 2023 written by admin 13 مايو، 2023 112 By CityNews Halifax Staff Bouncers at late night bars in Nova Scotia will now be required to have criminal record checks and security training, going forward. This comes as part of a provincial announcement which says bar security staff will need to take an approved security training course by July 1 in order to work at cabarets. They will also need to provide a criminal record check on request and complete a responsible beverage service training program. “Bouncers are there for one reason: to help keep people safe. This new training will give them the tools to better understand how to do that,” said Service Nova Scotia and Internal Services Minister Colton LeBlanc. The province says it plans on developing a training program but in the meantime, staff will need to complete the Alberta ProTect Security Training Program, offered online. Any caberet that violates these new licencing requirements could have their liquir license suspended, as a result. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post Man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant next post تقنية جديدة “للشم” في الواقع الافتراضي… هل يستعيد فاقدو الذاكرة ذكرياتهم؟ You may also like Gas prices to change as energy board invokes... 10 مارس، 2026 Operating rooms closed at Victoria General after weekend... 10 مارس، 2026 Halifax considers asking province to create centralized dangerous... 10 مارس، 2026 RCMP in N.S. continue cannabis crackdown with more... 10 مارس، 2026 Cape Breton arts centre says tourism will be... 2026 Wilkie wins Canada’s first gold medal at Milan... 8 مارس، 2026 Iranian state TV says Mojtaba Khamenei, son of... 8 مارس، 2026 Missing police badge recovered in proactive traffic stop 8 مارس، 2026
