The department says its investigation “can only continue if more information comes to light.” Charges can be laid under the Forests Act up to two years from the date of an offence. The wildfire started on May 28, 2023, and destroyed 151 homes. “Charges are only laid if there is sufficient evidence to secure a conviction,” the release said. “There is a high bar for what can be used as evidence in court.” Anyone with new information is asked to call the department at 1-800-565-2224. 0 comment 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail admin previous post N.S. swordfish harpoon fleet urged to bring tourists aboard to boost troubled sector next post Union agrees in principle to Postmedia’s $1-million bid for Atlantic newspaper chain You may also like Last call will be pushed later in Ontario... 20 مايو، 2026 Todd Blanche grilled over Trump administration’s $1.8B ’anti-weaponization’... 20 مايو، 2026 San Diego mosque shooters met online and shared... 20 مايو، 2026 Amid deadly Ebola outbreak in Congo and Uganda,... 20 مايو، 2026 Montreal F1 stripper strike part of fight to... 20 مايو، 2026 كارني يقلّل من أهمية تعليق واشنطن عمل هيئة... 20 مايو، 2026 Retrait des États-Unis d’un comité de défense :... 20 مايو، 2026 Robert K.
