Just after 6 a.m., lights went out in much of the north end from Kempt Road to Barrington Street, including and north of Young Street. Meantime, Halifax Fire are responded to a power pole on fire in the 3300 block of Barrington Street around the same time Monday morning In a release, Halifax Fire said traffic in both directions is blocked at this time.
