Porter Airlines is adding three non-stop routes to the Maritimes from Toronto in the coming months, including service to Halifax

Porter Airlines is adding three non-stop routes to the Maritimes from Toronto in the coming months, including service to Halifax. 

The three routes — Halifax, Fredericton and Moncton — will see non-stop service from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.

The connection to Halifax is set to begin on Apr. 7 and will feature up to three daily round trips in the summer, the company announced.

The New Brunswick locations will get one daily flight each starting in May.

“This new route will provide our passengers with more choice and the added convenience of arriving and departing just minutes from the heart of the city,” said Halifax International Airport Authority CEO Joyce Carter. “We appreciate Porter’s commitment to increasing air service in our community and look forward to working together as we collectively recover from the pandemic.”
